LOST: A New Episode

Daniel Dessinger
January 11, 2006

I am caught up in the story and characters of LOST. I wasn’t really very impressed by the first episode. But then somewhere toward the end of the first season, I tried watching again and found the characters had developed to an interesting level.

The first new episode in four or five weeks just started. How did I become so addicted? We’re about to discover a new twist about Mr. Echo and the plane full of heroine. His brother was probably one of the dead pilots.

It takes a certain kind of writer to create a complicated story. I am a copywriter in Dallas, and I admire what it takes to weave this plotline. For all I know, there’s a whole slew of writers holed up somewhere, deprived of food, entertainment, and contact with the outside world. They’re pushed to create, and a story of isolation is what they came up with…. no, probably not.

I’d like to meet any other Dallas copywriters out there. Whether you specialize in search engine optimization, print collateral, news, etc… Anyhow, I’m going back to watch the show…
